JELLO gone bad
So Bridger brings me a Jello package this morning and wants me to make some and so i did and set it out in the fridge in the garage and told him it needs to set up before we can eat it. well the garage door was left open and he ventured out to the fridge to find the jello and splashed it all over the floor and fridge and of course himself. He would have got it worse but he was wearing a t-shirt and jeans and they got soaked. I have got to remember to get one of those locks for the fridge. i think it would save me some grief ;)

Kuna Cave!!!
We took a little outing to kuna caves which is just down the road from us and got to go caving with the boys. They have never done anything like this and I was impressed with how they acted and they did well through the whole thing. You start out by getting onto a narrow platform and then turn around and ease your way onto a ladder. This ladder has a back to it which made it easier for all of us. Then you go down the ladder probably 30+ feet and once your down in the cave it smelled smokey. Someone had a campfire down there. Then we walked back into the cave and to this point Bridger had been doing fine and then his teeth started chattering and he started shaking and started breathing hard. I think he was scared of the dark or was getting the beginnings of closterphobic. we walked a ways into the cave and Gideon was quite excited about it all. We made our way back to the lighted area and hung out until my brother Clint and my nephew Richy made it into the cave. It was a lot of fun and the boys did great. I had a sling around Bridger so I could have my hands free while climbing up and down the ladder and Gideon just had to hold onto daddy really good. By the time Daddy came up with Gideon it was quite the work out because Gideon kept grabbing onto the ladder adding resistance to Joseph. So we will continue working on following instructions especially when you are scared. Good Times in the Jones Family :)

Day trip to Swan Falls Dam
You can see who our dog is loyal too. She is my little side kick. A funny thing about her is when I was babysitting Rich and Beccas kids (my brothers kids) the kids all wanted me to sik Akina on them so we had a fun little evening getting chased by the dog and she climbed up the captains ladder to the play loft too. She is a funny and good dog :)
I was asking them to point to a body part so they would focus on the camera and let me take a picture. This one ended up being their nose. CUTE!
On friday we headed out to Swan Falls Dam and had some fun exploring and collecting rocks. The dam was closed to guests due to construction on it but it is really cool cause you can walk through and see all the turbines of this old dam. It was so windy and cold but it was a fun little outing that we had just as a family. Gideon was excited to now have been to the "Snake" river. ;) And it is straight down the road from my parents house so that was even better. :)

'The gable faces East' by Anita Stansfield
I just read this book and it was a pretty fast read. It is intense though and had a little more tragedy than what I usually like to read but evolved into a beautiful story that turned everything that was upside down into a blessing and was made right. The character development was very good and learning through different lives and emotions was impressive. I hated this book at times and loved it other times so if you are up for a roller coaster ride and a pretty good read than I would say, "read this!" It was a pretty good one. Romance, betrayel, secrets and more of that kind of stuff but not predictable which is good. :)
Leap year!
We Saw a new movie called 'Leap year' and it was really good. It is a romantic comedy that makes you laugh for a good part of it. There is one scene where the girl is not wearing much. Other than that it is clean and cute for a PG movie. recomend for most mature audiences. Another movie to add to my chick flick collection :)...which consists of at the moment of 'pride and prejudice', 'just like heaven' (which is ok, and i think that is about it. Hopefully that will build into a bigger collection someday :) So have fun for date night and go see a cute movie ;)

Song of The Morning Robin
Assignment:
See how many things in nature and every day life you can find that teach us an eternal principle about God and his plan for his children.
I wake in the morning to the sound of robins singing up the sun in the dim light of dawn. As the minutes pass and I breathe in the cool damp air of a dew filled morning the rays of light become more apparent for my eyes to see. Anticipation rises with the glow that reaches across the lake and mountainside and breaks the darkness of the night and introduces a new day.
I gather myself and head down to the docks along the lakeside park.
As my foot steps along the weathered wood breaks the silent sounds of morning I hear another sound that stops me in my steps. Splashing and clicking noises from around the corner. Five playfull otters are enjoying the mornings break of dawn and are on the hunt for their breakfast. Their curiosity draws them in closer to get a better look at me. They swim out in front of me right up next to the dock and have there look at me and make little barking noises and then dismiss themselves with a few quick flicks and splashes and swim away underneath the dock. I sitdown on the damp wood and enjoy that moment.
It is brighter now and the suns rays have reached the tops of the mountains and are descending gradually toward the shoreline. I take a deap breath in and thank My Heavenly Father for that moment in time to share His creations with me and for me to take the time to enjoy them.
I think of my morning thus far and reflect on waking to the robins song. The Beautiful song filled with joy starts the new day with an excitement of a hidden blessing. We are blessed every morning to wake up to a brand new day. The robins know it, but do we? We are able to sleep our troubles away every night and wake up refreshed and cleansed to start the day out right. Opportunity presents itself and we have the choice to pick it up and run with it. I like to think I might forgive someone and seek to be forgiven, to help brightens someones day with a smile and by telling myself at the beggining that it is going to be a great and beautiful day.
That is a gift and an eternal principal; to become more like Him and that we have the chance to do that every day if we choose to. God's presence is all around us. He is in my life and in everything I do. I see it in the sunrise and in the birds, in the dew drops on a flower and the otters and in the sky. God is wishing us to make the most of what we have and that is a new day filled with opportunity.
He bestow's his Love upon me from the air I breathe to the angels who guard and protect me through out the events of the day. I want to choose to make each new day better than the one before. Noticing more of the beauty in nature and in all of God's creations can bless my life with His love. I am grateful for that and so I look forward to another sunrise in the morning to take my chances on Faith and Hope and relying on the Lord to help me along by sending me a song sparrow or a rolly polly. If we look we will see it.....We just need to take the chance.
