Way to Go Joseph!!!
Joseph was able to call me while he was on Base liberty for the first time. He told me he got a 95% on his written exam. That is so awesome!~ I am so proud of him. He also said he donated a pint of blood for 4 cookies and a cup of juice. They don't get sweets down there and you have to do extreme things like donate blood to get anything. It was kinda funny. We are very excited to see each other next week. :D I am so proud how far he has come and that he is doing well. It just feels so good to hear his voice. Well that's it. Just wanted to share his good news on his test :) He is going to go far I believe. I think the Air Force is a good fit for Joseph. I sure do love him and I am excited to be with him together as a family experiencing the AF as a family and a couple.

Gideon's Birhday and our week
TEAM WORK :)
This week has been pretty good. We had a large yard sale that we prepared for on Friday and had it on Saturday. We had so many people come and we actually were pretty successful. Then after it was all done we loaded up the rest in the trailer and took it to D.I. So this week we have been focusing on getting things cleared out that we don't really need.
Yesterday we made Gideon's cake and after Gideon fell asleep Bridger and I decorated it. It was fun! This morning Gideon and I made pancakes and then Gideon was able to open up his present for his Birthday. A fire engine latter truck which he has been asking for for the last couple of months. He was pretty excited and then I turned the bubble machine on and they played around the room popping balloons. Grandma gave him a cool outfit ( shorts and lightning McQueen t-shirt and a pump truck fire engine and a race car. They have been enjoying this day so far and now it is time for me to get Bridger down for a nap before church. I hope you all had a good week. :)

Outing to Jump Creek with Syphus family
There was a ton of families there on Saturday. You could see the buds of poison Ivy growing just about everywhere. We got a little wet adn some scrapes adn had a good time. After this we hung out in marsing at the little park next to the river and fishing ponds. it was a nice afternoon of playing in the sun.

Our outing today!
Today we headed out to the foothills and went for a hike on the military reserve in Boise. It was a beautiful day. There were so many people out and about and it felt so good. Akina (my dog) really liked it because most of this trail was a dog "off" leash area. I think we will head to the foothills a lot more often now. There are so many places to go, especially as the weather warms and the snow melts. We love hiking and the boys do relatively well. We also stopped at the lucky peak Dama dn Barber? Dam and got to walk across it and watch the water come shooting down the ramp. The boys loved that part. I really should not make this a tradition but we went out for happy meals again tonight....That doesn't work very well when I am trying o loose the weight but hopefully I will get there.
Today we went to the library as well and on our way we saw this HUGE ring around the sun and I asked Gideon what he thought it was and he said it kinda looked like a rainbow and that rain is probably coming soon. Well when we got to the library we looked it up in a weather book and it is altostratus clouds in a thin layer covering most of the sky and when this happens the water vapors create a ring around the sun and this symbol means rain is near. I thought my Gideon was brilliant for saying what he did before he really knew. He definetly has a good head on his shoulders. Way to go Smart boy. Mamma loves you!

Great Conference weekend
Conference was wonderful and it really made me want to manage my time better so I can be a better mom. I made these sheets that I just put into a clear sheet protector and we use a vis a vis marker to check off our list. I made one for each of us. The first one is the reward. They get to choose what we will do that week or that day.
