The Jones' Crew
So this week I took a class on Tuesday and Wednesday from 5-9 and tested and am now an official Red Cross Instructor for CPR, AED and First Aid. I am really excited about this. I know I am wanting to continue down this path and this came up to volunteer for the community so it is now official. So I will get to teach classes to the community now. I am pretty excited.
This is me practicing 'infant' CPR on a ....stuffed animal for my test.... Go ahead and laugh we were! :)
and no my form is not perfect but I am not putting my mouth over a dogs nose :)
This is something I found and LOVE IT!! It is great to know and even for my boys to look at as they get older to know there are better apples on the tree. Just keep looking! I told Joseph he was sitting high up in the tree and made me want to reach further so I would be one of the apples towards the top. He has helped me so much to become the woman I am today and the woman I long to be.
Gideon's response to this is:
"Why don't we shake the tree so the good ones will fall off and we will catch them"......
He will just have to learn to raise himself to their level ;)
About Gideon
I have been working with Gideon on a curriculum that I LOVE! It is amazing how it breaks down the phonics and is easy to teach. It is All about Spelling. I highly recommend this to anyone in need of something like this in their home. Gideon just finished the 6th lesson and is already reading books and understands the different sounds and rules to the English language. He read his 5th beginner book today and they keep getting harder. These are 20+ page books with 10+- words on the page. Way to Go Gideon! Gideon loves to exercise. You'll catch him running around the house then where ever you are he will drop down and do push ups and sit ups then run around again. When he is reading and his brain is getting tired I have him run around for a bit and it is almost like he is good as new again.
About Bridger
Bridger is loving daddy being home. He loves being the bad guy and especially a bad dragon with a sword. He is always making us laugh with his fun personality that fills our home with pure action. :) He loves wearing shorts and does not like to wear long pants. So we have a compromise that if we are at home he can wear shorts but if we leave anywhere then the long pants go on. It is so funny because no matter where we have been as soon as we walk in the door those long pants are off and he is back in his shorts :) Funny lil Guy! Speaking of little... He is growing and becoming a big boy. He weighs 37 1/2 pounds and is getting taller everyday. Gideon who is 2 years older weighs 42 pounds and is still a few inches taller and slim like daddy.
I love my boys and everything about each one of them. They are full of personality and fun and Adventure!

It's almost Halloween!
This is our garage after it is all cleaned up. I have room to play and park. I have all the boys cars, trains, trucks and imaginX toys out here and out of the house. I also have all of our shoes and socks, scarfs and gloves out here too.
We made lil' candy bags with a note saying Danke (Thanks) and we gave it to the garbage men
We got to go on a horse drawn hay ride and it was fun. The boys loved getting out and doing something fun like this in the fall time.
Then kids with a deployed mommy or daddy got first picks at the pumpkin patch. We love pumpkins!
We went to a trunk or treat they had at one of the hangars here on base. It was GREAT! The trunks were so well decorated. It is so nice they have things like this for families to come too. I funny thing I discovered while we were going around... Bridger didn't want any of the chocolate candies we were getting. He kept stuffing them into my pockets. Guess he is his Father's son but I guess that makes me lucky to get his chocolate :) He also stopped about 1/2 way through asking for candy. He still wanted to go around but he had his share of candy. It was pretty funny!
Bridger the Dragon!
Super Gideon with his homemade mask and all
The area we were at
Cool Trunks!
Getting snacks inside
So tomorrow Joseph comes home!!! We are so excited to have him back home and our family can be complete! So stay tuned for pics.
Gideon started whistling tonight. It was so cute he was doing it and doing a tune and i was going along with it and then i stopped what I was doing and stared at him and was like"YOUR WHISTLING??" I was so surprised.
Well We are very excited to be a family again!!
