Well we headed up to the Medicine Bow National forest for a day of shooting BB guns, off-roading and exploring together as a family.  It turned out to be such a great day together.  So grateful!
So excited to see where they shot their BB's

Go Gideon!~

Little miss Arya

Getting down low

So cute!  I love it!

Playing in the snow

My boys enjoying their day of shooting

Arya eating the snow....at least its fairly fresh

Akina Girl

Enjoying the action

Us finding a nook in the trees out of the wind and having some yummy potato soup.  The sun felt so warm there on the blanket

Going out on a walk to explore

A little unsure about her steps on uneven ground

I love my kids!

We found some geometry in the snow.  This pine needle worked as a perfect example of a compass

Bridger a little forlorn because he wanted to go for a real...longer hike :)

We saw two Mule deer Bucks and six Doe's.  We enjoyed trying to sled on a small area of minimal sloping ground we found a long the trail and everyone crammed in the front seat of our suburban for some FUN off roading bumps, turns and hills in the snow ice and mud.  It was such a good time together with lots of laughs and giggles in the front seat :)

It has been such a nice Christmas vacation this week.  Joseph didn't have to go to any commander calls or trainings and didn't once have to put on his uniform in 5 days.....It was so nice!  Looking forward to a new year of fun!

Merry Christmas 2013

On Christmas Eve as a tradition Santa's elves came and delivered presents of new PJ's for the kids
The new PJ's

Christmas morning...started at 7am...thank goodness even though Gideon did come into my room at 2:30 and 3:00 in the morning and asked if it was time yet.  I love Christmas!

Arya sporting her new scarf mommy made with extra material from her baby blanket grandma made her

Opening stockings

I put hoods and big letters on the boys towels.  Arya got one as a baby gift and I have always liked it so now the boys do too.

opening their imagine X Castle...They love this.  So glad!

Arya opening her baby doll gift

She snuggled and held that doll most of the morning.  SO CUTE!!

I made the doll a little blanket with the same material I made the scarf with

Daddy got me a home designing software so I can put all of the house plans I design in 3-d and on the computer.

More Christmas gifts....can I just say after we opened presents these boys played and played.  I had to make them come and eat at 2 in the afternoon for the first time that day.....they just weren't interested in food I guess, which is a rarety around here.

opening her new cute outfit from grandma

We decided to get these boys BB guns for Christmas.  They have been taught how to handle it and safety rules and tomorrow we are going to go out shooting and hiking for a family outing.  We are looking forward to it.
PS:  Can I just say how much i love Bridger's face here.

So the kids and I decided to get daddy a hammock for Christmas.  We all love it.  We look forward to nicer weather and using it more often.

Arya's face is pretty priceless in this picture too

She LOVES the hammock!

Joseph got me a beautiful necklace for Christmas and it even came in a pretty little jewel box I got to open up.  The last time he gave me some jewelry he was asking me to marry him.  So I am feeling pretty happy and lucky to get this.  It is Beautiful!  Thanks babe!

I also got the boys geodes for Christmas and they got to take a hammer to them and open them up.  They all had really pretty crystals inside.
