Our Trip to the DINOSAUR museum
It was all based on the big bang theory...which really makes no sense but the experience was so fun and memorable!

The boys aren't excited at all :)
The stegosaurus out front
Cute Arya checking things out
the underwater feature
Rain forest area... It was fun spying all of the creatures in the room like we do in our books
A giant Dragon fly
This was our favorite thing of the whole museum. It was a feature of a slot canyon and what it feels like when a flash flood comes through a canyon. It was AWESOME!!! Better yet we went back a second time (they happen every 8 minutes) and we got a family who didn't know about the flash flood to stand right up close when the water came roaring down and they scattered every which way they could. There was hysterical laughs after that. It was so worth it. :)
they had a storm projected onto the ceiling with lightning and thunder and wind. It was pretty sweet!
Old Mr. Crocodile!
Stego's bones
We loved the T-rex. He was eating away at a triceratops and when you walk by he roars at you. It was wonderful :)
They got themselves in deep this time
Me and my baby!

We Got our Assignment!!!
We are going to........ Cheyenne Wyoming! We are so Excited to be out west and a road trip away to home. It is 10 1/2 hours to Boise and 12 1/2 to Donnelly. Joseph's job will most likely be guarding and protecting missle (nuke) silos in three states of Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska. We will wait and see to get more information. It he did get this job he would be at work for 4 days at a time not coming home but then off for 4 too. So we shall see. We are looking forward to our new adventure in Wyoming! We are also looking forward to being able to visit a lot of you in September or October. We will see!

Options!?
Places we could end up in the next 6 months could be......
Shreveport Louisiana - Barksdale AFB
Minot North Dakota - Minot AFB
Great Falls Montana- Malmstrom AFB
Cheyenne Wyoming- FE Warren AFB
Montana and Wyoming have the highest number of slots available so hopefully we will be out west near home.
We might know by mid May where we will be located come this fall. I am just so excited to be back in the states and move forward.

Graphic Post!....about my dog Akina
So my poor dog got attacked a couple of days ago by another dog. Here is how it happened....
First off lets just say it wasn't just any other dog. This dog was a full grown Great Dane.
So My neighbor was so kindly watching a couple of dogs just for the day in her yard. A maintenance guy showed up to check something in her back yard and walked right in and left the gate open and the 2 dogs ran out. (a beagle and a great dane) So I was in my kitchen and knew my neighbor was watching them but saw they were out. They were out walking in the square and so I headed out to gather them and help put them away. (I think the lesson of the day was close the door or gate behind you) I left my door open and of course Akina wandered out. She is my little shadow. So I gathered the 'nice' doggies and had them and was walking them back to their yard when they spotted Akina and ran towards her......THis is where a girl who just had knee surgery lets go of the great dane because I am not stupid :) They were doing what any dog would do wagging their tails and sniffing each other. Then without a growl or raised hair, no warning at all for Akina or me, the Great Dane attacked Akina.
His huge jaws grabbed Akina around the neck and shook her like a rag doll. He re-attached a couple of times while growling and hurting her. While this was happening I was so shocked at first that I couldn't believe it was happening and then I started hitting that dog and telling it No. After a bit he finally let go of her like nothing happened and Akina whimpered off. I was so mad at that dog. I grabbed it adn took it to it's yard.
I have been around plenty of dogs who fight or don't like each other and there is always a warning. There was nothing with this dog. It just struck. Poor Akina didn't have any warning that dog was going to attack.
So Akina had some severe damage to her. But she was a live and breathing and stable.
I took her to the vet on base and they say because she is fat and over weight is probably what saved her life. I then took her to a local vet in Speicher. Where we looked at the wound more closely.
In this picture you can see the 2 lacerations. The skin in between was completely detached from the muscle. They had to end up cutting it away and stitching the skin tight. After they shaved it they found a 3rd laceration above my fingers here.
The bottom laceration was as long as my hand if not longer and we could pull the skin away where you could fit your whole arm in the wound from shoulder to back of neck.
after having surgery
The whole injury goes from the top of her neck down the side to her shoulder. They put a drain tube in to help it heel faster
So from top to bottom the skin was detached from her muscle lining and the lacerations were 2 1/2 inches deep in some areas.
We are just so glad she is alive and well and still with us. Poor Girl!
After talking to the owner of the Great Dane she disclosed that the dog has aggression issues and she is working with a trainer to make it right. She even said he doesn't show signs of aggression before attacking too. Sounds like this dog has major mental issues and I am just glad it was Akina who was attacked and not a child. So now we will just hope for the best and that her wounds will heal and not get infected. Akina is one tough dog.

Roar!!
I love this wonderful boy. Every bit of him. He loves working and cleaning and unloads the dishes for me all the time. He has a sensative heart and is concerned for others. I love him so much!! I am so blessed to be his mother!!
Yum!
He got a hex bug Larva. It wiggles like a worm and avoids any object in front of it with a cool sensor. It turns around and goes the other way!
My knee is looking better. I got the stitches taken out on Friday. It still feels weird, I can bend my knee to about 90 degrees and it is numb all around the bottom stitches.
