Moved out!

last Thursday and Friday the movers came and packed up all of our things.  they wrapped everything in paper and/or cardboard.  here are some things we did while they packed us up....

I can't believe how much this little girl loves to eat dirt.  Hopefully this means she will have a good immune system :)

We had a wonderful blessing this week, we sold both of our cars.  We know god hers our prayers and is mindful of us.

It was a stressful few days trying to get everything done for out processing and living in a house that we would have a final inspection in.   But it all worked out in the end.  I thought Joseph was going to loose it on the final day.  He said when it was all done he could feel the tension just leaving his body as he walked home.

 

Later that day after we moved into temporary housing I had a girls night at my friend Sabrina's.  I loved just sitting around a campfire laughing and talking with good friends.

 

We even found a hedgehog and it was soooooo CUTE!

Good friends, campfire, good conversation, smores and a hedgehog made a wonderful farewell evening.

 

 

 

 

Just our day to day

Movers come tomorrow!  we are way excited and I hope I pack anything I want for the next 2 months because I wont see our stuff till then.  Here is to moving forward and closer to coming home!!

Arya's favorite spot in the house is the stair landing where we open up the doors and she can just stand there at the glass and feel like she is outside.

I love how she pulls her feet up to rock on the horse.  She is so cute and fun!

we got to watch little Dude this summer for Louise Thomas so she and her husband could go back to the states and see there children and grandchildren.  Arya LOVED crawling around with the turtle.  t was so cute!

 

We sold our Sparkles, our parakeet to prep for our move.  Bye Bye Birdie :)

We hit up one of the local pools in Wittlich.  It was so FUN!  We went together as a family and in the evening hours where more people were leaving.  It was Arya's first time at a pool and loved being there and playing in the water.

I also sold some flowers and plants.  I will miss the lush and green here, that is for sure.

This was before heading to the Wittlich pool and Arya was trying out a make shift kiddie pool in the back yard with some cold water.  She enjoyed it as long as it was just her legs in and no more....understandable!

Here is Gabe Martinsen who became a member of our family for a few days while his mommy ahad a baby and rested in the hospital.  He was such a good by and we really enjoyed having him here.

We are trying to sell our van in the mean time.  Wish us luck.  We only have 2 weeks to do so :)

We took these pictures tonight.  We decided to have a campfire (Arya's first one) and roast marshmallows and pay catch as a family.  It felt good.  We will miss this place but not he neighbor kids wanting our boys attention during family time....no that we wont miss :)

 

 

 

 A few random things about Arya....

She is standing up with out holding onto anything, She walks with holding onto only one hand and she has 6 teeth now one of which is still breaking through.  Which means she has been pretty fussy but her smile just keeps changing.  She is beautiful and wonderful and loves to snuggle when she gets up from sleeping....but before you lay her down she pinches slaps, and does anything to inflict pain with a smile on her face.... Which makes me want to be done nursing.  She will lay there in my arms unconsciously pinching an clawing my arms up and it is driving me loco.  So we shall see what the next month of traveling around brings :)  2 more weeks plus some, we will be in IDAHO!!!
