My Akina Girl
Born October 2005
Went to Heaven May 29th 2014

For Valentines Day 2006 Joseph went and got me a puppy.  I asked him before I even got her if he was going to get me a puppy and he totally denied it and I believed him.  Then when I saw her I was so suprised and she was the cutest littlest puppy ever and I fell in love.  We were getting anxious for Spring and so we named her Akina which means Spring blossom in Japenese.  She has been my constant companion ever since.  SHe was my loyal friend and would go everywhere possible with me.  I am so grateful for her in my life and we were all sad to see her go.

My Favorite things about the best dog I have ever had......
I loved her deep brown eyes and how they could speak a thousand different things.
I loved her little tail when it wagged
She ALWAYS wanted to please me
She was Always there for me when I just wanted to hold her and have her keep me company
She loved my kids and was a loyal companion to our family
She was such a good dog
She was smart and she loved me
I love how she loved a soccer ball
and the vacuum to chase
and any kind of animal we would sick her on and I loved how she used to chase my nieces and nephews around on Que
She was so lovable
She had an irresistible puppy stare and would rest her chin on your knee till you petted her, fed her or let her outside
She loved being with us
She loved to go on adventures
I am really going to miss her and so sorry she is gone
She was there for me when I needed to cry after my miscarriage when Joseph was away
She loved to snuggle

I love you Akina and look forward to the day when our spirits will be reunited in heaven.
Love ya Girl!

Chasing Coyotes
Great Snuggler!

I love her so much.  Such a sweetheart!

 Akina's Funeral
Joseph was out in the field and was unable to be there when she passed away.  That was hard.  It all has been hard.  She is going to be missed so much around here.
Gideon's picture for Akina.  She is chasing coyotes
Arya's picture

Bridger's depiction of her chasing coyotes as well.
The animals in our lives have such unique spirits and I feel they are more intelligent than we give them credit for.  Akina was one who knew what to do with out any words and was always there for me.

Here are my Saving Angels yesterday.  The Grants.  Derek and Joy and their daughter Anna. Our next door neighbors and in the last month have become our good friends.  She was home when I found Akina, He was there to help me with Akina and here they are digging a grave for her because they insisted that I didn't for just having a baby 2 weeks ago.  They saved me today.  I don't know how I could have done it without them.  Truly the lords hands in action!

Saying our goodbyes and having some closure

Sharing their art work for her

Anna gave a prayer

They all gathered some wild flowers for our Spring Blossom

I just took these pictures of Akina a few days ago.  I am so grateful I did too.
She is a beautiful wonderful sweet dog who I will always remember and cherish.
Love you Akina!

Her eyes speak volumes.  Miss you girl!

Week of May 20th

We have been working on trailer training our filly and her mamma to be separated from her.
We asked the vet and we will need to stop every hour from here to Idaho to let Arcadia nurse off of mamma because they will be separated in the trailer.  It is going to be a Long trip.

Bating bunnies with grass and trying to catch one...they love to do this while we are out at the horse.  This week the boys have been taking a walky talky with them on some of there long walks and they go exploring way out past where we can barely see dots of where they are.  We call them adn say "how ya doing" or "Come on back"  They have been loving the freedom and the independence they get when they go.  They take their compasses and pocket knives and their love for adventure and I love to see that alive in them.

Arya's favorite things... leading horses and her basket

So I went to two different doctors this week trying to figure out why I cannot walk.  It has been about 3 weeks now that I have had trouble walking. The first doctor was not helpful so I went back and got answers that I feel are right on.
She thinks I have Pelvic Girdle instability.  It is quite common in pregnant women because of the hormones that are released in the body that loosen the joints, tendons and muscles. but it usually goes away.  So after doing my own research I have had this for most of this pregnancy and have had some very painful episodes with it.  I have told my doctors about it but they said it is normal.  So I didn't get the actual 'girdle' to help with the instability I have been having.  So now I have to have physical therapy to see if that works so I can walk normally again....The things we go through to get these beautiful blessings in our lives (I actually have it really good and easy compared to a lot more women out there.)   So next week after the holiday I will set up physical therapy that will take place in June.  So I guess it is a good thing we will be around so I can hopefully get better.
We are excited to say we are officially out of debt.  We were around $50,000 in debt at one time and now none!  We feel so good with that behind us and are trying to help our future so we don't make the same mistakes we made in the past.  I am really looking forward to new things and the adventure that lies ahead.

Grandma and Grandpa Jarvis' Visit

It was so wonderful to have my parents here.  I let my mom spoil me and run the house.  I have been gimping around hardly able to walk to it has been a blessing to have their help.  It was a great comfort too to know I had someone with me while Joseph was gone half the time they were here.

Just to show you the contrast in weather while my parents were here....
