Conference Weekend!!

Conference weekend we make into Super C weekend with Camping, Candy, Cinnamon rolls, and so on...

Here the boys are waking up on Saturday morning.

This is Joe our cat we are sitting.  He is quite fun.  I might even miss him when his owner comes adn picks him up in a week

So Fall time is all about Fall leaves and such so we got some mesh wire cut it down and held it together with rubber bands (I improvise) and then tied the leaves onto the wire to create a wreath center piece

The boys even helped and enjoyed creating something with nature and FREE

OK so back to Super "C" weekend

We had the apostles pictures on baggies that were filled with a snack or treat so when that person spoke we got to pull out the treat inside and eat it while we watched

Playing with play dough while listening.  We had our friends come over for the first session and was fun to have some 'family' around on a special weekend as this.

We posted the pictures up as we listened so the boys could learn their names and faces

That evening we had a Campfire and roasted mallows and had smores...I ate ummmm I lost count!  They were that good :)

That evening my friend was watching a few other kids of a girl who has a deployed hubby so she could listen to conference.  We had a blast!!  We ran around, ate marshmallows, told ghost stories and then the kids ran around like they were ghosts...Priceless!

It was such a fun weekend being together as a family and not worring about anything but eachother, yummy food adn treats and listening to a living prophet speak to us.  LOVED IT!!  I love listening to conference because it helps me to strengthen my testimony as a mother and a daughter of God.  I am so grateful for Jesus Christ and the life he gave for us and the scriptures telling us about him and living apostles adn prophets today to help give us modern day revelation.  

I am grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints!

we got shelf wood and made shields out of them for the boys.  I will post when we are done painting them

Making paper:

take paper scraps and put them in the blender with water  I keep with like colors.  Warms and colds.

poor into a bin and sift through with a screen.  This is best done with an 8X10 frame with a screen stapled to it.  (I didn't have that)

then press water out of it with a plastic sheet and set out to dry

Fun times in the Jones home :)  We will cut out and make things with the paper.

there was a cool recreation place where we were walking.  They had an obsticle course, archery range, hatchet throwing, canoes, rock wall and repelling and so on.

Sweet Bridger Boy!  We even got to stop and pet the horse and feed it some grass.  I miss that smell of horses hmmmmmm..... :)
