Firefighter and soon to be one

Joseph's fire outfit that we put Gideon in. It is so cute on Gideon in the big gear. Joseph is enjoying becoming more involved with the fire dept. They burned a barn down for training purposes in Roseberry yesterday. He will start the advanced EMT class this month and he looks forward to doing that. he gets to do IV's on people after that class. So watch out every one. :)

First bon fire social night of the year
It was a nice evening and we spent it at a friends house having a campfire and a potluck. It was totally last minute that they called us and it ended up being so much fun. It really gets you so excited for summer camping trips with friends. Those are some of the best times. I really am blessed to have such great friends around me that are fun and wonderful. I look forward to lots of fun evenings with campfires and friends in the near future. Good Times!
The letter A
Here are some of the games we played for the letter A
Who has the Alligator?
Cut out a Alligator shape. Have everyone close their eyes while you give one child a the cut out. Then have your children guess who has the Alligator
Feed the Alligator
Draw a large Alligator face on a piece of poster board or the side of a box. Cut a hole out where the Alligator's mouth would be and add paper teeth (make it at least twice the size of the beanbag). Tape the board to a chair and let each of your children take three tries to feed the Alligator (by throwing a beanbag into the Alligator's mouth)

My new schedule...We will see how good we stick to it. :)
This is a schedule I made myself to be able to be more accountable of my time and get more done during my day. I really have been wanting to spend more time with Gideon on Preschool items and it has been good. Today we learned about the letter A. We had a picture of an alligator that we hid around the house and played Hot and cold in order to find it. We started writing in his writing tablet. He takes his thumb and first finger and makes them open and close like the chirping of a bird and that is how I am teaching him how to grab his pencil. He started writing today and it will be fun teaching him. He can identify the letter A, sign the letter A, and we're working on the writing part.
