So Joseph will finally be able to get into Tech school next Thursday the 27th. They have layover time because they have so many people entering and can only have 110 per team or Flight for the class over the next 13 weeks. So Joseph starts school on the 27th of May and will graduate from that around August 27th and make it back in Idaho around August 30th. Then he has 2 weeks here working with the Recruiter which is called Recruiters Assistance and then we will go to our first duty station. So it is technically not 2 weeks off. But it is time that he can spend with his Family after 5pm or something. We are excited for lots of things this week. I just sent him a webcam so on the weekends he can go to the library and we can Skype and talk to eachother in person (kinda) and I ordered him a cell phone and we will be able to talk a lot more in the evenings. I am excited for that. The pay phones are awful down there and you can't understand anything he says so we are looking forward to the cell phone.
As for me I am revamping my schedule so that me evenings are open to talk to Joseph. I was working out in the evenings and now I am going to try to get up early and do it all then. (I hope!) My goals for the boys is work on potty training for Bridger and see if we can get somewhere by this fall.Any ideas would be great~ For Gideon I am working on him being able to write his name and ABC's and 123's. We are going to start simple addition as well which he enjoys and go on outings in the community such as Firestations and police stations and find out how people help us in our communities. I am also hoping to study something new each week in science such as bugs, plants, ect. and do a art project that week too.
So HOPEfully I will be able to accomplish some of these goals. It feels good to set some and aim to accomplish them.
My personal goals are to loose more weight :) and to read the Book of mormon with Joseph during Tech school. Work on my Life history which I am focusing from when Joseph and I started dating till now. It has been fun and kinda cool to see journal entries and where different events in my life led me. So we are packed with projects to do and this summer to get them done. So I guess Reading books is out for now :)
I am so grateful to be able to do these things and be able to be where I am in my life right now. I hope to grow in knowledge more in sprititual things this summer so I may be prepared to what awaits me and our family in the near future.

Girls Lunch

These are my Best Girl Friends from High school and Jessica since like the 1st grade. We went out to eat at the Flatbread company in Meridian on Monday. it was so good to have that time to talk about our lives, our futures and reminisce a little on the fun times in the past. Good times and great girls!
At Carl's Jr. Again

They love this play area and it helps burn off some energy too. It's been a good day. I got 2 web cams one for us and one for Joseph for a great sale price and 2 sleeping bags at 30 degree warmth for the boys for camping so we won't have to barrow anymore (thank you Becca for letting us barrow them for this last camping trip)I shaved off $10 off each bag when I told them the Internet price was $10 cheaper then what they had listed. So it definitely pays to shop before you go to the store and know exactly what you are getting and the price. :)

Boys being Boys
It was so cute. The boys would fill a bucket up with water and then take their sponge and fill up their tricycle with water. It took some doing but they had fun doing it. Then as they rode off it would leak leaving their foot prints everywhere they went. So cute!

The boys playing in the field. I love this :)

Highlights on the boys
Gideon has "how do dinosaurs say Good night" book and "the hungary caterpillar" book memorized and we will sit down and he will read them word for word with plenty of drama too. It is really cute. he read Daddy the caterpillar one over the phone tonight.
Bridger is talking pretty good now. When ever I say "I love you" he says, "Miss Daddy" He loves to wrestle with Gideon and they actually wrestle really well with eachother as long as Gideon behaves himself and doesn't throw him down.
Gideon Loves counting and singing songs. He does very well with his prayers and really puts time adn thought into them. They sometimes make me giggle in the middle of them. I love the mind of a child :)
Bridger holds his pencil better than I do I think and it feels good to him too. he loves to draw pictures.
Gideon is a goof ball. Always being crazy and silly and spontanious. I love his cute little ways.
Bridger get's this look in his face when he is excited about something that I caught on his birthday but that he will do and then he will put his hands in fists next to his face and get this face on and say "excited" in a yelling type of way.
I love my boys. They keep my life eventful and full of Joy everyday. I always find myself laughing at them being goons and how thoughtful they can be sometimes. I love you Gideon Ryder and I love you Bridger Orion!

1st Camping trip of 2010
So I finally got the car packed to find the boys covered in MUD. Yeah they were having TOO much fun while mom was doing all the work so they had to get one of these before we took off :)

The Car Ride!

He is definitely a JONES ;)

Yep we headed to Brueno Sand Dunes!!

We all had our jobs to help set up camp.......
Akina was there to patrol and look cute

Mommy was there to relax and kick back

While the boys were busy fixing up camp.....Ok so I got that a little off but hey, no one needs to know right :) (Gideon was actually a good helper with the tent poles. he liked being able to help mommy with that.)

Bridger was a little anxious for dinner

The kids couldn't wait to get in the sand!!!

Going up

And up

And up.....

And (grunt) up...

And this was the view at the top...

The boys were LOVING it! There is a boy in the background behind bridger who was flinging his shirt. That is what that wierd UFO is.

And down the other side!

View from top at sunset

My sillies!!

Brother's are so cute!

BEAUTIFUL!

And back down the other side again

Army Crawling like their daddy

The sunset

The hill full of crazy scouts, father and sons and lots of families

Ready for bedtime

Before bedtime we got our PJ's on and headed over to the observatory where they had telescopes set up. We got to see Saturn and it's rings and it's 3 moons. We got to see Venus closer and some stars. It was a fun way to spend the evening. This trip was so fun and it didn't feel too cold because we went prepared but it got down around 43 the weather report said. But it felt fine. We got the very last campsite available when we got there at 5:30 on Friday. It's a good thing. I love camping and it was fun doing it :)
