Up in Donnelly!

I have had a lovely time here in Donnelly. We got to spend some time with Grandma and grandpa Jones. We had so much fun!! We had a campfire cookout and did projects up at the unfinished house. I went and spent the afternoon with one of my friends, Brielle at the Beach and the kids played together. And the evening before that I had a "hang out on the porch eating fresh salsa and chips and talking with my good friend Lindsay Nelson. Then Thursday night I went camping back at Rapid creek and spent some time with Justin and Aleaha Nelson, Jessica and Tyler Vance and Jessica's parents and brother, Shawn and Lindsay Nelson and all of their families. It was so much fun!! Nothing like staying up late and hearing about the stupid things we all did when we were younger and labor and delivery stories...oh yeah, it got good :) On Friday we went and had a picnic at our families secret spot back on the creek and the boys played and waded in the stream. It has been wonderful to be up here where home used to be. The best part was seeing grandma and grandpa Jones and our wonderful friends. It was a good week. :)

On the phone~

This is what I am doing a lot....Talking to my wonderful husband!!!!..... and my sister got a picture of it so I thought I would put it on here and share that part of my life :) It is so nice to talk to him more often now. His graduation date is now on the 27th and so he should be home by the end of August. Yeah!!! We can't wait to be together again. :)

Ok something cute. We were reading stories for bed time last night and we were doing a book with nursery rhymes and we were at rock a by baby and it had a picture of a little bird in a bassinet in a tree with it's "mother" bird rocking the cradle. Bridger points to the baby bird and says, "a baby bird....Oh how sweet!" it was so cute to hear that come from him :) Good times with the boys. I love them so much!~

With Grandpa

Anderson Ranch ATV trail riding~

We went to Anderson Ranch Resevoir over by Mountain Home and I don't think I have ever been out there but it was beautiful!~ We went to go check things out for our family reunion because we are wanting to combine ATV'ing, boating and swimming into one day and Anderson Ranch acheives all of those goals. And it is only 1 hour and 20 minutes to the boat dock from my parents house. Not too bad for everything combined like that.

4th of July Celebrations

Well on Saturday my parents and me adn my boys went up to Donnelly to put a few things of mine in storage and found this really weird mushroom growing under a board. I have never seen anything quite like it. Pretty Cool!

On Sunday we went over to Mary McPherson Elementary School (that is where I went to school)(on Amity rd. Between Meridian and Locust grove roads) to watch fireworks. It is definetly no secret. It looks like many people had this bright idea long before we did but it was the best. First off you have the whole playground to play on while you watch fireworks and then you can see the entire Treasure Valleys firewors. We could see from the Boise airport all the way down to Nampa and there were thousands of fireworks going off. It was a breathtaking sight to see all of that happening at the same time. After that we went back home and lit off fireworks with the cousins and had fun with pop its and sparklers.

This is what to not do on the 4th of July!!!......So we thought the firworks were cooled and went ahead and threw them away......Well 15 minutes later my dad was outside spraying down the trash can.....Yeah, lets not do that again :)

Books I have read lately

This was a really good book and had a little bit of a Jane Austen feel to it. I would recomend this book to anyone, young or old.
I have finished the first 2 and will be reading the last one sometime next week. I really like the fantasy feel of these books. The violence in them can be compared to Lord of the rings feel. The dark against the light but not as much (so far) as was in Lord of the rings. I have really enjoyed these books so far. :)

The Jones Round Up

I hope each of you are having a good week! Love all of ya~ Camille
