Girl's Night and Boys Campout

So it was Arya and I's first Girls night and the boys went off camping for the Father and son's outing in Baumholder

Girl's Night at Elains's House.  All the daughters and girls got to put the 'stuff' on our faces.  A nice oatmeal orange mask.  Avery Anderson did mine :)

Update on Akina and my Knee

So My dog got a second surgery this last week.  The upper part of the injury got really infected and had to be removed adn sewn up again.  The problem was that the dog ripped away most of the fat tissue from the muscle and allowed air and bacteria to get inside and caused much difficulty for Akina.  Also they say dog bites like these get infected easily due to the bacteria in the dogs mouth.  They said that most dogs would have died from this injury so we are glad to know she is with us and seems to be doing better now.

My knee is getting better.  I started physical therapy this last week and I am starting to get more range of motion in it and starting to re-strengthen my quad.  I get to have electrical shock therapy on my quad muscle and that feels like pins and needles shooting into my leg.  Really weird and not my favorite thing.  So things are looking up that way. 

April Shower's bring May Flowers

It has been so nice to see spring slowly making it's way out and about.  Just this last week we have seen the first blossoms around here and now everywhere you look there is something else budding out.  I love Spring.  There is something so good for the soul when spring comes.

Happy Birthday my 7 year old!

We celebrated Gideon's 7th Birthday.  It is amazing how fast time goes by.   I just want to savor every moment I have with these amazing kids.  Gideon is such a caring tender heart, little rascal of mine.  

We woke up earlier than usual before school to have our traditional room full of balloons, present opening and a yummy breakfast.
