Aren't the Holidays the Best! Gideon, Bridger, Mom and Dad enjoyed a wonderful Christmas together and had a lot of fun. Christmas Eve we had a yummy dinner of steak, green beans, baked potatoes with seasoning, fruit salad and Apple Pie and Ice Cream and a fancy Cherry cola from the bottle. Santa's elves left new PJ's on the front porch and rang the doorbell. That sort of worked. The nativity story from the bible was next followed by a bath and into their new PJ's and ready for Joseph to read the "night before Christmas" story infront of the fire with all the lights off. That was fun. Then it was off to bed and Joseph and I watched a movie.
Christmas morning was good. Gideon got really excited to see a kitchen and a lego set to play with. (Thank you friends and family) I got both free because their kids were done with the toys. I love stockings! That is one of my favorite parts of Christmas morning. It was fun to see Bridger get excited about a picture book I made him of family and he loved a lil' giraff stuffed animal that He chewed on for most of the morning. We had crepes for breakfast and then out to play with our new Snow shoes. We played in the snow, decorated a gingerbread house, and had a nice relaxed Christmas together.
The next day Joseph went to work and I went down to Meridian for the weekend to be with the Jarvis Family. We had a fun get together at Ice world with all the cousins. Joseph and I celebrated four years of marriage on Tuesday and then played with the Jarvis' at the cabin.
I love Family and all they do for us. I hope to have a great year in 2009 and hope the best for you all as well.

Your Christmas looked so nice, that homemade pie had my mouth watering, and the pink carnations and candles were so romantic in a Christmas Eve sort of way. The two munckins looked so cute in their new Christmas jammies and I love the Gingerbread houses, you made the gingerbread-no? I am truly impressed with all your homemade handiness!
No I did not make the gingerbread~ This kit was one from Costco, the EASY way!
