So the month of June my goal is to try a few different things like doing laundry by hand. Like 10 loads....I was a little behind and decided this was the best time of any. It was a bit different but fun in a way. I was saving electricity and got to listen to noises and things outside and the boys played in the mud while I did it. There was something "almost" soothing about it and then you remember it is a chore and that thought leaves. It was a fun experience and would do it again if I needed to.

Wow - you must have tons of energy. Bottle the energy and sell it!
Did that for four months with laundry for eight people, two of whom were doing construction and I constantly had to scrub off cement from the pantlegs. A couple of times, I got so far behind that I had to take a day off and spend it at the laundrymat in Donnely to catch up. Even so, I know what you mean about it being a good experience. There is just something fulfilling about clothing flapping in the breeze between the trees--it gives you a connection somehow; it encourages pondering and then the mundane isn't.
Good job!
YOU ARE ONE AMAZING WIFE & MOMMY!!
