This is what the heat does to you :)

Boys playing in a grass hut in the African exhibit

Silly Boys

There was a carousel there at the zoo and it was $1 each so I splurged and took the boys on it. :) It was a memory making experience they loved.

They were all smiles on it :)

This was cool! There was a cement tunnel that went underneath the prairy dogs pen and they had little windows that poked up so you could see the ground hogs up close. It was a fun tunnel and the boys played in it for a while.

This is the boys playing by the Bengal Tiger exhibit and that is the actual life size of these tigers. We went right up to a glass window and the tigers came right up to you and the only thing between you from reaching out and petting them was glass. These tigers are so much bigger in real life. They were HUGE! It is very intimidating to see the massive jaws and paws of these animals. I still get that "poor animals" feeling when you just see them pacing wanting to be out. That is all the tigers did was pace.

This is a life size giant clam shell from the great barrier reef in Australia. It could eat up both of my children no prob. :0)

Gideon being a turtle

Bridger playing in the shell

Bridger and Mommy playing on the Giraffe slide. They loved this one. Gideon went down so many times.

Gideon was really enjoying starting to go down on his tummy backwards.

There was a cool slide in the rain forest exhibit that I didn't get pictures of that was really cool. You climbed these stairs up to where the monkeys were and then went down the slide. It was a lot of fun. The boys liked the monkeys. The Rain forest Exhibit and that general area was our favorite cause there was so many hands on things for the children and a lot of animals to look at. The kids liked the lions too. Bridger would growl at them. It was so cute.
The Zoo was really fun and we missed Daddy while doing it but it was good memories made. It was really well priced too. Children 3 and under are free and adults are $6.50. Thursday are 1/2 off day. To learn more info got to
