Update on our lives

Military~
We are still waiting to hear back form the Air force to see if we can be "waived" into the acceptance process. The recruiter says everything looks great it is just up to the big guys to say yes or no and they are taking there sweet time doing it all. So we are hoping to get a response this week and then put on the pressure to them next week and we may start looking at other options so we can start planning out our lives better. I just hope we can get into the Air force cause we really feel it to be the best choice for short or long term for us.
Around the Ranch~
Joseph has been doing a few hay jobs and a lot of the equipment has been breaking so that has been frustrating and on top of that, crabby people he is doing the jobs for make him want to hurt somebody ;) All in all. Things are "starting" to go smoother and hopefully will pick up in pace here shortly. We are so grateful to have this job at this point in our lives.
Me and the Boys~
We have been all over the place for the last 3 weeks. From utah to Boise/Meridian area. While staying at my parents place I have a new place I like to go. The walking path along Indian creek next to kuna park. I took the boys there once and we picked blackberries on the side of the path and enjoyed watching the BMX riders that have a course next to the path as well. Then when Joseph was able to come down on Sunday we put the boys down in the evening and took off and went for a walk along there and the creek. That was much needed time with him. I think that was the first one on one time I have had with him for a bout a month. We were able to talk about our lives and the air force more and see where we are at after a month of waiting. I love walks!! :) I also love the Indian creek area. In High school I would always go for drives out in the kuna/melba area to clear my head and take walks along Indian creek. I have good memories in that area.
The boys~
We started a bug collection

So if the boys find a dead bug then we add it to our collection. We found 6 dead Beatles on our porch when we came back. Joseph left the porch light on and they are nocturnal bugs and I guess they were attracted to it. I am teaching the boys how to hold a live bug and to not kill them and to gentle with them. It has been fun.
Gideon is officially potty trained. He has been doing really well lately and it was because I started to let him "shoot" into the potty, I got him his own stool and he picked out his underwear. "CARS" was his favorite and he likes Lightning McQueen and Mator. We don't even have the movie but he has started to take a liking to something so I am excited for him. Some kids are really into certain characters, this is Gideon's first time actually showing interest in a specific thing so I think it is good for now.
Bridger is quite the jabber boy now he talks up a storm. Bridger likes to say "Owey" when he gets hurt and likes to be silly. He has quite the funny personality that is showing through. I think he's a nut :)
So that is the update in our lives. Life is good and we love each other very much :)

Congrats on the potty training! Thats awesome! Ev loves CARS too, and we don't even have the movie either. Keep hanging in there with the AF, I know being in limbo is so tedious, but don't worry, it'll work out.

The Jones Round Up

I hope each of you are having a good week! Love all of ya~ Camille
