The Apache Helicopter

There was a church building in Kuna that had an Apache helicopter land in the field. It was pretty cool. They did it for scouts I guess. There are a couple of the pilots that are in the ward and sure drew in a crowd of like 100+ people. It's not everyday that you have an Apache Helicopter land in your backyard. It was fun to let the kids see the helicopter. It was cool to see them fly from a distance and land. :)

Our Temple Trip

If this doesn't say crazy boys with quite the personalities then i don't know what does. Enjoy the pictures of us at the temple and the cute expressions the boys have through out it all. :)

It was a fun time to go to the temple and to share with our children the spirit that is at the temple. They enjoyed walking around and checking out everything. My favorite pictures are the boys silly expressions on the first picture. Bridger is so Random and I love every bit of it. :) Gideon kissing my hand where Daddy proposed to me was another good one and Gideon in the leaves.
I love the temple and love the sweet spirit that resides there. I know It is Heavenly Fathers House and I know he is there for us. We just need to let him in by staying righteous in our lives :)

HERE WE GO!!!

So we got a call from the Air Force and we have a go at the quick ship. It get's complicated so listen.....
So Air force calls us and asked if we would be open to any jobs that become available for quick ship and not just our top 5. Joseph said he would talk to his wife and call him back. So we discussed it, cried about it and prayed about it and came to the conclusion that that Lord has had His hand in our lives this far we might as well put it in His hands. He will place us where He wants us. So we called back and said yes, we will do it.
So on Wednesday next week we say our good bye's to Daddy and then he heads off to a motel to get last check ups and physicals done and then stays the night. In the morning (on Thursday) he will hear if he got a job opening and if he does he ships out on Thursday and if not he comes back home with us. It will be a crazy roller coaster ride if he doesn't get the job. I am just hoping for 1 good bye. So we are going to roll with it and put in our minds that Joseph ships out Thursday and we won't see him for 6 or so months.
CRAZY!!! I am not sure where to start. I guess that is what we get for asking for a quick ship...no planning, it just happens. So it will be weird with the whole good bye thing if he doesn't ship out on Thursday but at least we will be as prepared as we can.
So We wrote down the priority things to get done before he leaves like..FIREWOOD! and other things not so physically demanding. So wish us luck and I hope the Lord will watch over the both of us while he is out training.
So a party...No I am not going to have one because for one week that is just too crazy to plan and get ready for and it will distract me from the more important things. So if you would like to see or visit with Joseph before he heads out then you are more than welcome to come over and visit. Sunday is a good visiting day. :) We should be here in Donnelly till Monday afternoon and then In Boise from Monday night and on into the week. We say our goodbys to him at this point on Wednesday...but as much info as I have gotten who knows :)
Well That's the scoop I will keep you all in touch.

Burn up those calories

http://www.healthychoices4life.com/burn-more-calories.html

(I found this site. Different ways you can burn more calories during your day. Yeah!!!)
Burn More Calories
During Your Day

It's no secret, to lose weight we need to burn more calories than we take in. However, most people won't stay with a limited diet and strenuous work out program for very long. But what if you could burn more calories while going about your normal activities of the day?

If you're like most of us, you're way too busy to exercise or you can't afford an expensive gym membership. Don't let that stop you, check out these "busy and broke" calorie burning tips below. The calories burned during these exercises might surprise you.

At Home

Before you even get out of bed, stretch your arms up over your head, then slowly do a sit up but don't use your hands. Then keeping your legs straight, slowly lean forward reaching for your toes. Pause for a moment, then slowly lie back down without the use of your hands. This will stretch you out, tighten your abs and burn more calories, about 10-15.

While brushing your teeth, try balancing on your right leg for 30 seconds, then switch to your left. This is a good balance exercise and you'll have burned another 10 calories.

While waiting for the coffee, steady yourself using the counter, and do some legs lifts both out to the side and behind. Try to do 5-10 reps on each leg and burn 10 more calories.

Off To Work

While stuck in traffic on your drive into or home from work, put your buns to work. Squeeze your bootie, holding for 10 seconds and then release. Repeat and try to get to 10-15 squeezes per day. Your effort results in at least 10 more calories burned.

Work your thighs while you work your job. Instead of just sitting down, stop before your bottom hits the chair and stand back up. Make sure you keep your weight on your heels, bend at the hips and don't let your knees go past your toes. Chalk up another 15 calories burned.

While talking on the phone stand up and walk around or tap your toes if you must sit. Depending on how much you talk on the phone, you could burn another 50 calories.

Get personal, walk to your co-workers office instead of calling or e-mailing. Hand deliver instead of using inter-office mail and feel those calories sizzle.

Hoof it Baby, take the stairs instead of the elevator whenever possible.
Even two minutes, five days a week, will burn as much as a 20 minute walk, 100-140 calories.

Lunch time eat healthy and then walk for the rest of the time with a goal to burn more calories, all activities add up at the end of the day.

Get a pedometer and track your steps, recommended steps vary based on your personal health condition. But here are some guidelines..

# 1) Under 5000 steps/day considered a "sedentary lifestyle index"

# 2) 5,000-7,499 steps/day is typical of daily activity excluding sports/exercise and might be considered "low active."

# 3) 7,500-9,999 likely includes some exercise or walking (and/or a job that requires more walking) and considered "somewhat active."

# 4) 10,000 steps/day used to classify individuals as "active".

# 5) Individuals who take more than 12,500 steps/day are considered to be "highly active".

Break time. Find a wall and lean forward into the wall with your hands at shoulder height and do some wall push ups, works your chest and arms, burn baby burn.

Park further from the door or better yet, use public transportation to get to work, if possible.

On The Weekends

Going to the grocery store for just a "few things", carry a basket instead of getting a push cart.

Go shopping if you've got the time, rather than buying on-line unless it's a item you can't get in town.

Walk or run your dog this could burn 200-300 calories per hour.

Running errands is a great time to burn more calories by wearing a back pack with a 5lb bag of flour in it, work your way up to 10 lbs.

While pumping gas pump up your calorie burning by trimming your calf muscles. Rise up on the balls of your feet, hold and then lower back down, repeat until your filled up!

Go window shopping and try on a dozen outfits while thinking about how awesome you're going to look with a new slim and trim body (extra motivation!) Activities of any kind will burn calories!

Waiting in line again? Try to reach your arms behind you and grab your hands while pushing your chest forward and pressing your shoulder blades together. Breathe in and out slowly.

Heading up the stairs? Hold on, get a lower leg work out first. With both feet on the stairs, (please hold the railing with one hand), slide one foot back off the step to about the ball of your foot, then let your heel drop then rise back up and repeat for about 10 reps and then switch legs.

Sit on an exercise ball instead of a chair or couch, it will improve our posture, relieve back pain and strengthen your core muscles.

Sing it honey! Singing burns more calories than talking, so go ahead belt out those songs on Sunday morning at church.

Be an active spectator While watching your little superstars at soccer practice, make a point of leaving your seat and walk or run a lap around the field or gym every quarter, 4 or 5 laps will burn more calories than staying seated. 75 more calories gone.

Play out in the yard with your kids, play catch, frisbee or tag, 30 minutes equals 90 more calories burned.

Pick and choose from the above tips and you'll burn more calories in your everyday activities and you'll be toning your muscles at the same time. That combined with healthy food choices should help you develop a slimmer, trimmer and healthier body.

It's beggining to look a lot like Fall time!

I decided I would embrace fall rather than pushing it away till the snow came. The leaves are changing colors and falling and the mornings are cold with warm days. So I started decorating the front porch for Fall time and all I need to add now are corn stalks and pumpkins and gourds. "Maybe" I will even make a couple of little boy scarecrows. We shall see~ It will be fun. I love Fall Time!

Ridleys points

So I had a lot of Points with Ridleys Family market and just spent some of them. I just ordered $75 dollars worth of Gift cards to Kmart. That is going to be my Christmas money. So once I have them I am going to start watching for great deals on things I want for our family. I am Excited and all I had to do for the last 4 years is shop at Ridleys and gain points :) I love knowing I don't have to spend extra on Christmas this year. :)

Chang'n it up

I think I enjoy change. Some change is good for one self like me. I feel like when I have some physical change it is like starting a new slate clean and organized. So I made the office area the way it should be; A quiet inviting study for reading and working on the computer. I brought the pre-school area out into the living room (moving some furniture around) I have a place for the table for the lessons and drawers behind the couch. I brought in the slide for winter time so that the kids can still enjoy it while there is snow on the ground and there play kitchen and table as well. In my bedroom I went through boxes of Art's and craft stuff and kept what I needed and stored it all concealed under a bench. It feels good to have things in order and functional. I guess that is one of my quirks too. I feel like I can't start something until I have everything in order and feel at ease with it. That is a little hard to do with two little tornadoes that undo a lot that I do. :) But it has been nice to clean house when I am organizing.

The Jones Round Up

I hope each of you are having a good week! Love all of ya~ Camille
