Hi Camille! So I might not look like someone you would want to to take fitness advice from right now since I'm a chubby wubby in my 38th week of pregnancy :) But what has worked for me in the past is...running! I love it and was actually training to run a half marathon before I found out I was prego. It's such a stress reliever too and you can rock out while you're running to fun music, and plus besides getting a good pair of tennies it's practically free! I also noticed I lost some weight when I started eating gluten free. I found out I was allergic to wheat so I had to cut out pasta, bread, cereal, etc. And of course that has an impact on weight, but it's definitely hard to stick to. Right now I'm eating rice pasta just so I can have spaghetti once in awhile! Sounds like a good goal for your big quarter of a century birthday! :) Even though it most definitely does NOT look like you have 20 to lose, but good luck! :)

Kristen Thank you!!! And I think I should take up running, i just got to figure out how to do that with my two boys. i think I need to invest into a double jogger. If you saw me you could definitely see the weight on me. Thank you so much for taking the time and giving some advice. Good luck with your new baby. I am so excited for you :)

I lost a little over ten pounds right before I got pregnant with Devri and now I am trying to do it again! Running was definitely a good idea, but more than that... it is good to break it up. I would go jogging and then do sprints in the middle of my jog. Your body starts to get set into the routine of what you are doing and then it becomes harder to lose the weight, but if you throw in a random sprint or two, your body doesn't know what to expect. It's good to change up the pace. As far as food goes, I avoided sweets (for the most part) and I ate in smaller portions. I found it was better to eat snacks throughout the day rather than eating a really big breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This time around, it's been a little harder trying to give up the sweets, considering I use sweets as a little treat to myself when the kiddos are napping. So.... they have boxes you can buy at Costco (or Sams Club, I can't remember which one) that have snacks that are only 100 calories each. Granted, there isn't much in each pack, but it's better than nothing! They have oreos, fudge stripe cookies, shortbread cookies, rice krispie treats, etc. They're also great when you hit that point where you're feeling sorry for yourself or if you've had a rough day... that way, you don't totally ruin all the work you've been doing by downing an entire brownie pan all by yourself! Ha ha! Also, I know you're an ice cream fan like me... frozen yogurt baby! That is better for you. My mom says she buys vanilla frozen yogurt and cuts up fresh fruit on it. P.S. It also helps having a reward at the end of your goal... you know, like money to buy yourself clothes or whatever.

Wow... I've written a ton! Ha ha! I would love any ideas about losing weight that you come upon as well! I just started on Monday and while I haven't been as strict with myself to start out with, I've already lost a pound. Good luck!

Burn more calories than you eat in a day and make sure the calories you are eating are worth having in your body! You can find websites that have calories burned doing different activities. It sounds tedious and it is, but honestly, that's the way you loose weight, burn more than you consume. Good luck, you look great already!

Well, I don't know if you want to hear it from me because you already have, but my was making a routine. I gained a lot after Kamden and Aspen and then couldn't take it anymore, just wasn't happy with myself. I have tried lots of different things but my favorite so far has been Chalean Extreme. I love the weight lifting combined with cardio. I have found when lifting weights and getting more muscle your metabolism speeds up. Plus your body looks tighter. But food has been the harder part, so besides the scheduled in workout everyday you really need to plan the food menu. Get a cabinet that is just for your snacks. Write down what you eat, and really try not to eat after dinner. That has helped me tons (I can't be near the kitchen) :) I hope something helps. Good luck, you can do it if you put your mind to it! :)
