Pasture ride and walk

So when we went to take pictures of our horses we rode out on the 4 wheeler and motorcycle and walked the rest of the way. We got right in the middle of all the horses and the kids enjoyed feeding them grass out of their hands and petting them. I love getting close to horses and giving them loves. There is something about horses that connects inside of me. I just Love horses!

So while we were out there in the middle of some 15 to 20 horses 2 coyotes showed up and didn't even see us and Akina our dog ran after them. After the first initial chase the coyotes came back and tried to get her to chase them back for an ambush. You could totally see the second one working the fence coming up on her tail end. Finally both coyotes came out and put the pressure on Akina and she was chasing them for a while with the other one on her tail. I got it all on video too. We finally yelled at them and they ran off. We didn't have anything else with us besides our voices. Akina was getting too close to them that I couldn't chance that. It was interesting to see it all up close and in action of how a coyote team works when gaining up on a dog. We were only about 10 yards away when the coyotes got close.
