Well it has been a good week. Thanks to family members we live with and that are nearby, Joseph and I had the opportunity to use my sister in laws parents home (who are on a mission) to stay at for a couple of days here in Boise. She had decorated the table with goodies for us and a trail of Candy kisses in the house. It was so much fun and she was so thoughtful. My mom and Becca took the kids while we were away and they were in good hands here. Thanks a Million Mom and Becca!!! We spent our time vegging! Watching movies, eating and going shooting and out to a movie. We finally got our truck fixed so it is drivable now. Yeah!! We went and saw Sherlock Holmes which we thought was pretty good.
Yesterday was a fun day too. We started out the day getting our family pictures done by my friend Erin. I don't get to see the pictures for a couple of weeks which I am anticipating. We went out to Kuna park and took pictures. Then we went to Givens Hot Springs with Joseph's brother Hyrum's family. It was fun. I haven't been out there in years and it was fun playing in the water with the boys. They love the water!!! Bridger jumps into the water now and goes under and does great. Gideon swims around like he's a fish and loves going in the deep end. (this is all with their floaties on their arms of course. :)
Then after that we went to a dinner party that a lady in our ward put on for valentines day. it was at Fiesta Guadalajara. It was a lot of fun. She had music in the background that each wife dedicated to her husband. (there was about 22 couples too) the hubbies got a copy of the CD with a dedication to them in it. Then when we entered the room we all got envelopes with five random words in it that we had to use in a love poem for our companions. Then we went around the room and everyone shared theirs. it was really funny. There were words like... mold, scum, pole vault, toe jam, Michael Jackson and the list goes on. After that there were 22 decorated cookies with a description word on them. All of us women had to guess which Cookie was ours because it was from our husbands and what they thought described us. It was amazing how many women got the right answer. I did! It was "Joyful". The night was fun and it has been so wonderful to spend time with each other and our family so much lately. :)

The Kids Covert Ops Mission

So last night Joseph and I had some fun with the kids. We made goodie bags to take to the cousins who live next door. When it got dark we headed out to deliver our goodies without being seen and it would have been pretty easy except that the neighbor kids were playing night games outside and all around the yard and house. It was so funny cause we had 5 kids, the oldest at age 8 and Bridger the youngest at age 22 months and we spent like 45 minutes running and hiding around the yard trying to not be seen. We delivered our packages on the front porch successfully and got to run around back and scare the kids too. it was so much fun and the kids had a blast at being sneeky and keeping from getting caught. It was so fun!!

Rock'n baby
Can you see the resemblance between Bridger and His Daddy?..... I can :) Boots and a diaper make this picture so cute! I remeber a time when Joseph and I went Kayaking and the only shoes he had was his Cowboy boots. So a swimsuit and cowboy boots was all he wore... A true Redneck :) Aren't you proud!~ I even claimed him too... Kinda :)

Sick is no fun....That is a understatement~

So Friday night (or early saturday morning) I was having the wierdest dreams and feeling very uneasy. At about 1:oo am I heard Bridger yelling for me so I got up to attend him and as I rocked him I felt so nauseated. I went and layed Bridger down on our bed with Joseph and started throwing up at about 1:30 and continued Every 20 minutes till 4:30. I have never thrown up so much in my life. I finally got a blessing half way through from my husband and then around 4:30 from my Dad and Joseph. After that I only threw up twice but was extremely week. It was kinda comical looking back on it cause my friend came over in the morning to take our family pictures. I wasn't able to get a hold of her before then. Lets just say I totally blacked out when I was talking to her in the hallway and had to have Joseph assist me to sit down. I feel sorry for my friend to see me that way. oh well! We will reschedule pictures though Erin! I am starting to regain my strength again and will be as good as new by probably the end of today. I am just glad that it stopped. I was thinking it never would. So that was my Saturday adventure and hopefully I have no more of them. :)

Capital Tour and Legisladies with my mom
we went out to Gowen field and had a luncheon with the Legisladies, (those who have husbands in the senate or as Representatives that meet every week.) It was a fun little time and getting to see where help is needed to meet the families needs of those involved in a family member deployed. They also talked to us about the F-35 and how important and such an impact it would be for Idaho to house that new airplane here. It was a good experience and I enjoyed being there with my mom.
My dad sits in this room front row on right hand side second seat in. He is Representative for district 21 A. He is really enjoying being apart of what is going on in the capital building.
Views from the top and bottom of main area in the capital.
This is my great grandfather John David Killpack who was senator of the district near the Driggs Idaho area. His picture is on the bottom right. His picture is in one of the galleries there in the capital building.
This was made out of one piece of wood and was carved by candlelight and a postage stamp picture of George Washington. Amazing!
I thought this was funny. This was in butch Otters office. Nothing like a stuffed otter ;)
Me and my Mom
So my mom is one of the Idaho state capital tour guides and this morning I joined her for one of her tours. It was neat learning all the many significant things with the capital building that I did not know about. The architect for the building wanted to give as much natural light as possible. The light represented the enlightenment and integrity of the government. It is one of the most prestigious capital buildings in the US.

Baskettball Game
With my Dad in the legislation he gets the privlage of participating in lots of fun activities. Tonight he invited Joseph and I to the Idaho Stampede baskettball game at the Quest Arena. It was a lot of fun to be able to go to a game. I havn't been to a baskettball game since high school. It brought back some fun memories. Well we had nice seats with a table, pizza and drinks. Stampede lost but the first of the game they stayed tied. It wasn't until the 3rd quarter that the other team pulled ahead and kept them down about nine points while scoring. It was fun and something new and different for Joseph and I to do. Thanks Dad and thanks Becca and Mom for babysitting. It was a fun night :)
