MEPS... I am officially an Airforce wife :)

It was neat to be there and to witness the swear in and watching my husband go from inactive to Active duty and apart of the Air Force. Joseph's brother Ben made it to the swear in and Joseph really appreciated him being there. We were there along time after he was sworn in and I kept the boys occupied by playing in the arcade area of MEPS. I got to talk with some other people about the military and think more about our future.

This is at the airport when we said good bye...i mean "see you later or Soon". We don't like good bye's. We started that before his mission. I shed most of my tears last night when i dropped off Joseph at his motel but as he walked away where we couldn't see him anymore I lost it for all of 10 seconds and Gideon said, "Mom don't be sad,...you shouldn't be sad". It was really cute. We sure will miss our Fun full of life hubby and daddy over the next few months ahead but we will become stronger beacuse of it. It ended up being a great day.
Looking back I think I have put as much if not more planning into this than i have into new babies coming into my life. Everything went pretty smoothly. ...oh yeah, except for our truck that I have to take back to the shop because it is making some crazy noises with the "service engine soon" light on. ~ Just another day in paradise ..Right? :)

Wow... you seriously have my eyes watering! I miss you guys so much and I hope you are doing well. Call me if you ever just need someone to talk/vent/cry with or for any other crazy reason.

The airport was tougher on me than for you apparently... I didn't keep myself together very well and I didn't have an adorable little boy to cheer me up. I went home and cried all day. Just the beginning of a big adventure!
