1st Camping trip of 2010

So I finally got the car packed to find the boys covered in MUD. Yeah they were having TOO much fun while mom was doing all the work so they had to get one of these before we took off :)

The Car Ride!

He is definitely a JONES ;)

Yep we headed to Brueno Sand Dunes!!

We all had our jobs to help set up camp.......
Akina was there to patrol and look cute

Mommy was there to relax and kick back

While the boys were busy fixing up camp.....Ok so I got that a little off but hey, no one needs to know right :) (Gideon was actually a good helper with the tent poles. he liked being able to help mommy with that.)

Bridger was a little anxious for dinner

The kids couldn't wait to get in the sand!!!

Going up

And up

And up.....

And (grunt) up...

And this was the view at the top...

The boys were LOVING it! There is a boy in the background behind bridger who was flinging his shirt. That is what that wierd UFO is.

And down the other side!

View from top at sunset

My sillies!!

Brother's are so cute!

BEAUTIFUL!

And back down the other side again

Army Crawling like their daddy

The sunset

The hill full of crazy scouts, father and sons and lots of families

Ready for bedtime

Before bedtime we got our PJ's on and headed over to the observatory where they had telescopes set up. We got to see Saturn and it's rings and it's 3 moons. We got to see Venus closer and some stars. It was a fun way to spend the evening. This trip was so fun and it didn't feel too cold because we went prepared but it got down around 43 the weather report said. But it felt fine. We got the very last campsite available when we got there at 5:30 on Friday. It's a good thing. I love camping and it was fun doing it :)
