Roadtrip!~

We have been preparing to go on a Road trip to California this next week with my parents down to Tahoe and Yosemite. My brother Clint is going to meet us there. I am so excited to see him and PLAY!! So I have been looking for good Road trip ideas and found a lot of great fun things to do They are as follows!!

Make tickets and pass them out for every 30-50 miles so that the kids get one every so often and they know how many more tickets they have left till they get there.

Make Gift bags: So every 50 miles or less depending you pass a new one out with a new activity.

Make sack puppets: so in the bag you would have ribbon, paper, markers, tape, and a paper sack and make puppets

Sewing cards: Cut out shapes out of card board and paint what you will then hole punch and get yarn and tape the end and SEW

Get magnet sheets you can put through your printer and print out a game and stick it to a cookie sheet

Color on black paper with chalk to mix things up a bit

Aluminum Foil roll: make hats, dolls, bracelets whatever you want with tin foil

Car bingo: Make bingo cards for things you would see on a road trip such as different areas would have different things such as a desert would have cactus's or mountains would have streams, deer, mountains, pine trees and so on

Pipe cleaners: make all sorts of things with these

And MOVIES of course. i will be reading the Screwtape letters, Artemis Fowl and the giver

We are looking forward to the road trip and hopefully every thing goes all right. Wish us luck!! :)

Some cute ideas. We will be going to the Oregon Coast next week and I might be able to use some of them.

The Screwtape Letters and The Giver are two of my all time favorite books. They will change how you think--at least they did me. Enjoy!!!

great ideas, I am going to use some for sure. Hope you enjoy Screwtape Letters, I only got half way through, it's been a long time since I read the Giver, maybe I will suggest it for bookclub. Have a sweet time!
