We were planning on going to the parade that was right next to our house but right before I was about to head out the door with the boys I started "seeing" marker everywhere. Bridger wrote on the floors, cabinets, doors, walls, couch, and on the trash can outside. It was a good thing it was a washable marker but the wall one is still visible. So I made them miss the parade and clean it up and then we headed out to go check out the fire engines in the parking lot at the Elementary school down the street.
Later on we went to Bitburg which is like an extension to Spangdahlem AB and got a few things for our house. These are pictures from the shuttle.

Everything is so green!!! The countryside looks beautiful. Soak it in--I imagine it must rain a lot to look like that, so you will probably be soaking it in, literally, huh?:)
