I read the hunger games series and liked the first 2 books but got to the 2nd and decided she just wanted to finish the book. It was depressing and dissapointing.

I read The Giver and it was a little too much for me. It widens a persons perspective on narrow mindedness but I didn't really enjoy it.

I am currently reading the chronicals of narnia and hopefully someday soon I will actually finish it. I am really enjoying those and love how CS lewis writes.

I am starting the book of Mormon from start to finish and I am excited about that. I am doing it as a virtue project for personal progress. I am excited to do personal progress in the new program and increase my faith and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

For variety and perspective, isn't it great that we are all wired so differently!
The Giver is definitely in my all time top 10 favorites of JV Lit. Definitely emotionally hard, but I loved the deep symbolism and the lessons that were brain food for me for months after, yet I felt the way you feel about this with all of her other books and I know others who loved them.
Isn't it amazing how we all glean such different things from such similar experiences depending on our personalities and the circumstances of our lives. It is certainly a happy testimony that each one of us are completely unique.
