So Funny story about Thrift.....
So Last Friday I bought a wood loft bed off of a site like craigslist for $150. It was a pretty good deal and nice. I come home Friday afternoon and tell my friend that I just bought it and then she tells me that "oh I have one you could just have!!!" So Friday night I list my newly purchased loft bed and sold it for the same price the following day by noon. So I got a FREE bed and that makes me so happy!! and obviously the boys too. They love the slide! There room will have the theme of Castles, knights and dragons. So this bed will make into a nice castle eventually :)
I have added a little to my Beach room... A mural. I am planning on finding some old wood and make a 'window frame' around the picture
and FYI... I hung that all by myself. I think I did an alright job on keeping it level and not tearing it in the process :)
added a few more records now that I bought more nails. I am loving it so far :) Gives a nice focal point to the room.. A mirror.... and keeps with the theme.
So this is quite the "free" Thrifty room. The crib was off the internet free, the futon free word of mouth, records free, desk that drum set is on Free, Bamboo fence...Free...... Love it! I feel when you do the work you can find what you need for cheap or Free. :) Start asking around! I love being Thrifty!
