Hello Summer time!

This week has been full of playing at the park with friends and sunshine.  I have more freckles to prove it.  We had a little commemoration for our Pre-school kids for the end of School and the start of Summer.  That was fun.  I love summer!!!!
Pretty flowers on a nature walk we were on

Pretty clouds

For our Family Home Evening we started with a 21 gun salute daddy was in (later in post) but after that did an activity Bridger came up with.  He named this game Moo Moo~
You have to try and get across the yard with your Tonka truck without getting bopped by mom and dad with the balls

It was fun. Thanks Bridger for creating such a fun game :)

Camping for Memorial day Weekend.  It is too expensive to go anywhere around here so why not in our back yard :)

Warm sunshine to wake up to :)
So we just attempted a second night but Gideon got stung by  UFO and so did Joseph and we can't find it so we will spend the night inside tonight.  The luxury of camping at home.

This is the 21 gun salute that Joseph got to participate in.  It was to commemorate police week.
My silly's during it.

Joseph and a co-worker

The police dogs that came for the ceremony.  The one closest to the camera took off during the gun salute and the handler didn't have a good enough hold on him.  That is when i stopped recording video because I got distracted with him yelling 'Police dog' but got my wits and proceeded to record the rest of the salute.

(I will post videos later)
Taking the flags down for retreat
American Flag
German Flag (host nation) when they play the song retreat here on base they then play Germany's National anthem and then USA's

Good look'n Fella

After the ceremony

We then went to another ceremony for a dedication for a 9/11 memorial the Germans gave the base but got overwhelmed with Airman to watch or hear much
but this is them in the beginning for the national anthems sung by a choir and the memorial in background

During the rest of the time while joseph and I were intently trying to hear what was being said our boys were being quite silly in the back ground.   These are the pictures I found from their time with the camera.....Good picture taking Bridger and Funny faces Gideon!

This evening we went for a drive out into the country and then for a walk near some freshly planted corn fields.  It was a Beautiful afternoon..... Hmmmmm!!
View from our walk looking towards base
Bridger walking with bare feet because he forgot his shoes....I was tempted to join him
