Reading Time: They have a bingo chart that has read with a hat on and while sitting in the grass.... So cute!!
By the way Gideon is Loving to read. I let him pick out a magic tree house book at the library 'Dragon of the Red Dawn' on Friday and he came home and started reading. Saturday morning he got up before I went to teach my CPR class and I set him up in my room with the lamp on and he was reading again. Joseph said he was up there all morning reading. Well come Sunday morning he finished his story after reading a 105 page chapter book. Way to go Gideon!!!! This is not me bragging (OK maybe a little) but I'm just so happy he has taken to reading and loves it.
These are 'watermelon' cookies I made for a ward BBQ we went to. They just look like watermelon....they were supposed to be blue and red for the fourth but my teal coloring I just could not make blue :)
We watched a friends bunny for a few days.... here is Stewy
So we built are bird aviary and guess what... we only had to build 2 sides because we went to the recycling center here and I take a few things there and put them into the dumpsters and when I do it I always keep my eyes out for anything I can use. I saw two wood panels with mesh wire already on them so I asked and got the typical response "don't tell anyone you got it from here" which all my friends get too :) So we go to sides for free! Now if only we had a home depot and wood was cheep but reality is reality and we are in Germany where things are NOT cheap so after spending more then we wanted for wood and wire we started our FHE building an Aviary.
Boys getting there reading time in with their Pj's during the project
