Helping a new born Calf
(Mom Jones, Joseph says that I am incriminating him for showing off these photos I think He is afraid of you right now of not knowing what you'll say or do. He says your going to kick us out...What do you think?...:)

Bridger was becoming very protective of his bottle after I took it and used it for the calf. Don't worry, Bridger has the clean one.
A new baby calf was born in the snow and wasn't getting up so we brought him in and warmed him up and then took him back outside when we were done.
(Don't worry Mom Jones, He was ona rug when we brought him in and as soon as he was able to get up and around he went straight outside.:) )

Sunny Skies and 2nd Craigslist sale

It was a beautiful day today till about 2 then the clouds rolled in. We spent it out on the porch playing and transplanting our cosmos flowers into cans so they can grow bigger. I am saving all of my cans so that I can put plants into them for selling. I have pumkin, peas and flowers growing right now. I am going to plant radishes and spinach here soon.

I sold my Treadmill from off of Craigslist and got $95 out of it. For being 3 years old...or maybe 2 and new $199 I thought it was pretty good.
We have been so blessed lately. The Lord is mindful of us and knows what our struggles are. Joseph was able to do 2 different patient transfers to Boise and that will be able to pay for a couple of bills. As an area authority said, We need to put away Fear and have Faith and Hope for the best continually. We are trying to have this attitude and make the best of our situation. I am so grateful for a father in Heaven who is mindful of his children. We are all so blessed to be His Children and in return I feel we need to do the best we can to learn from our trials and mistakes so that we can return to Him and be better people from our journey.

Bridger's Walking
Bridger has been walking really good for about a week adn off and on for the last few weeks. itis sure fun to see him developing and growing. I love this stage and seeing there interactions with new things and seeing how that mind starts working. I love my boys and they make me so happy. life is not complete without my family~
Our goat's milking stand
Family shot with Momma
Family shot with daddy
Bridger up on the milk stand. I love this picture of him.it is so much easier to milk the goat now with this stand. We have it in their pen and the goat just jumps right up onto the stand and puts her head through for some grain of course. It is fun doing these things. We are hoping to get some laying hens and put in a coop in the goats pen. Fun times on the Jones Ranch :)

Busy Days
Joseph and I have been looking for different things we can sell on Craig's list and have about 10 items listed so far. From a chandelier, motorcycle gear, Soccer cleats and shin pads, desk, Speakers, treadmill, brand new Maytag Dishwasher in the box still, rock climbing harness, brand new from the store Formula that I don't need anymore, and a baby walker...and the list goes on. So hopefully our prices are right and we get some people to buy our stuff. Joseph is going to tan the cow hides that we have and sell those and is thinking about starting to make Log furniture. Log cribs, headboards, tables and other stuff and sell that too. So it should be pretty cool to see what he comes up with. I found my cat on the porch bench huddled in my hubby's ranch coat today.
Our cute Layla
I think I am going to head up to the "new" house of ours and go through a whole bunch of things that I have. There is too much clutter up there. Anything I can sell or get rid of that I do not need or that I don't have a personal connection to. :) I guess you gotta do what you gotta do.

Elk!
Catch you up to date
Well the week of my birthday Joseph and I went on a date that was WAY over due. We first went out to dinner at Louis Italian food and then We went to Shanks black light miniature golf for our date which is a really fun place. Shanks is located in the corner of the shopping center at Albertsons on Cherry ln and Meridian rd. Fun place to go and be kids again With out the kids. We are going to go there as a family because 3 and under are free and Joseph won a free pass by getting his golf ball in the prize winning hole on hole 18. So we will just pay 7.50 for one admission. I'll make sure I take my camera for pictures then.
On Friday night, My birthday night we made Carmel popcorn and had a movie night as a family.

Our little "Billy the Kid"

Joey, the Dairy Goat
Joseph and I went to Boise yesterday and went all over town looking for pigs or goats. We finally ended up with a milk goat named Joey a pure bred la moncha goat. ( they are an earless goat) that is there breed. We got a kid goat too. He is a Toggenberg goat with little waddles on his neck that hang down. his grandparents are from switzerland. We named him "Billy the Kid" He is only a few days old now. We are working on him to nurse off this goat, so far he is not that good yet so we have to hold Joey while he nurses. We will see how that goes. Where we got the goats I asked the lady if i could try the goats milk. It was the first time and it was surprisingly good. I have had goat cheese and had to spit it out so I was pleased to know that goats milk is good. Sharper taste than cows milk, but still good and very nutritious. We are excited to have milk again from a source other than the store.
nothing like egg cartons to start plants in :)
It just keeps snowing here. I am not trying to let that get to me. I am planting seedling plants that I hope to sell on Craigs list. Vegtable starts and some flowers. I have only planted a couple but tomarrow that will be my project to conquere. Joseph and I are trying to think of ways we can make money, save money and to become more self reliant.
So that is what has been happening in our lives. Hope you all are doing well. Love, Camille

Snow and lots more!
My spring cleaning and organizing
This is the kitchen finally deep cleaned and organized. Good thing for rubber bands, Bridger is trying to get into a cabinet he shouldn't get into. :)
This is my fresh fruit on display station. I pre-washed all my fruit so it is ready to grab to eat or throw in the blender for a smoothie.
Ready for a snack? I put all of our snacks that we eat in canisters on display as well. now they are just a grab away for the kids and us to eat. This will help with the independence and teaching self control to Gideon, but I may just have to move the chocolate chips and jelli bellies. You only can give a three year old so much temptation. :)
This is my cutting center. It is right next to the sink so easy washing. I have cracked wheat, oatmeal and sugar in the canisters so hot breakfast is just a grab away as well.
Do you have extra baby food jars? Joseph and I put our spices in the baby food jars and on display. I love seeing my spices. I have them labled on top of the lid. I will eventually paint the lids black and use a white out pen to write the contents of the jars. It works really good. So it feels great to de clutter and feel refreshed after a good cleaning. Now I need to tackel the other rooms for their deep cleans. I got the guest room and bathroom don e and it feels good to have them sparkeling clean.

We are done with "Jail"
Ok, so we don't really go to Jail because we are bad. Joseph was a deputy for Valley County and worked at the Valley County Jail. He had his last night, last night and so now we are done with that place. To some people they may look at us like we are crazy and others might understand. Joseph quit his job there because it was not a good environment for him and not a good thing for our family. Through prayer we made the decision to have Joseph stop working there and HOPE that things will work out on the ranch so that Joseph might be able to work where he loves it the most. We are most likely going to except odd jobs here and there but at least he doesn't have to work for the Jail any more. Joseph has been on night shift now for a while and it sure ain't fun to sleep alone. We are at peace with this decision in our lives and are now hoping for the best. Wish us luck and hopefully we can make it work on the ranch.

This photo is blurry because Joseph was running out the door and I didn't notice till after that the lens was smeared from little boys grabbing it and playing with it. So not the best. Oh well!

Girls Week
All of us at pizza hut
Rachel and I
Bridger Being So Cute!
Gideon enjoying His Greens
Cathi and my mom
We all gathered in Pocatello for a long needed girls time and catching up on each others lives. It was really great to be with my sisters and mom and having a good time being with each other. Lot's of long talks and deep discussion, had some laughs and cry's which made for a good week. We stayed at the Holiday Inn in pocatello and Bridger and Gideon loved to go swimming. I worked with Bridger with floating on his back and he got so relaxed that he would close his eyes and almost fall asleep while I had him on his back. I think he was enjoying it. We got my sister moved into a new Apartment and she seems to like it and we went by my Grandparents old home and how the memories flooded in. It was neat to see that old area again and be with the girls.

Fun day on the ranch

This is my really good looking cowboy who I am madly in love with. He looks so good in chaps

This is my other little cowboy having a good ride on his daddy's horse "Scout"

This is a guy from Norway that was here in the McCall area participating in the special Olympics. I feel bad I forgot his name and it was a really cool name too.
So yesterday on the ranch we had the special Olympics crowd from Russia, Bulgaria, china, Norway and I am sure lots of other places as well but those were the only people I met yesterday on the ranch. WE had cowboys riding horses and pulling people on inner tubes behind the horses and giving rides on snowmobiles and sledding and having such a good time. It is really cool cause a lot of the special Olympics youth were really pretty hesitant to try new things but when they got here on the ranch they had a blast and couldn't get enough of it. i wish I got more pictures of the festivities but you only can do so much with Bridger boy in your arms.

My New horse

Her name is June Bar Badger

She has really good blood lines and a cutting horse Dad and good looking stock

I am really excited to train her with my hubby Joseph and be there when she fouls in April. It will be a lot of fun. She is 9 and has had training before but has been a broodmare (breeds and hangs out in the pasture)for the last six years or so. So wish me luck on this new venture and hopefully Joseph and I won't get too beat up in the process.
I am going to name her something that has to do with a firey spirit or something. She kicked joseph within the 1 minute checking her out. Joseph didn't even know what was going on by the time it happend. She's fast and smart and she will be a good horse.

I am going to take a step back
I have been busy today. I finally got my photoshop 7.0 in the mail which is the Intermediate photoshop out there and there is so much I have forgotten and that I need to learn. So I am going to set up a crash course of photoshop and learn as much as I can in my "spare" time that I have. I also checked out some really cool websites. One is www.zenfolio.com and it is where photographers can list there photography and sell it and the company goes through mpix to print and send directly to your buyer. So it is less work for you and people will actually see your work. I also was amazed in the artwork put into the photographs and thinking I really need to start taking more photos. And get the money to get the latest in software to keep up with the "competition" :) So I am having fun learning so much that I have been rusty on. I havn't been in photoshop for lmost 4 years now. It is amazing how much info goes right out when you don't use what you have been taught. It is fun though getting back into my photography world. I really did miss it. I feel more like my self going back to photography. It was really a pretty big part of my life before I was married. I am excited to put more time and effort into it to see where it will take me. I only have a few shots that are worth anything so I have a lot of catching up to do. I am creating a photo blog though that you can start going to, to view different kinds of Photographs of mine. I believe I will probably keep it that way and sell from a website who can do that work of printing ect.

I have officially called my photography "Dirt Roads Photography" by Camille Jones
So we shall see where things go from here.

I am starting a new blog
I am creating a photography blog and will "hopefully" sell my photography on there that people can buy canvas, poster or postcard photography of my nature scenes and to give pointers. I eventually (meaning not for a while yet) will start a business up here in Donnelly doing portraits when I am able to make enough money to buy my new camera. It is amazing when you shop around you can find amazing deals on cameras. I found my camera that I will eventually get for $300 dollars less than from your typical dealers. Good websites I found for this detail is www.ontimedigital.com and some e-bay finds. Anyway, I am excited to get to this point so I'll let you know when it is finished. Goal: by Valentines day~
