Our Road trip 2010 (Vancouver WA and on the way home)

Passing over the gorge in Portland/Vancouver area~

We had a great time at Gary and Linda's house. I got to visit with my cousin Allison for a while and catch up with her. It was so silly of me to not get a picture of the 2 of us....Yeah, I am just not on top of some things like I should. I took the time to sit and read here and there as well. The boys loved jumping on the tramp and doing laps from the living room up the stairs, through the house down the other stairs and back again. They stayed entertained and it was great spending time with the family.

Notice her vinyl lettering in her kitchen... "My favorite things:....and then she has different words through out the kitchen as a border with different fonts for each words personality. I loved this!!

A view point along the Columbia Gorge. This was the first sunny day...the second to last day of our trip. The other times were just an hour here and there of sunshine.

It was so GREEN there. The scenic by way had a canopy over it like this pretty much the whole time. it was so Beautiful!!

Our little hike at Emigrant Springs Campground

Hot Dags!!! Yummy!!~

We camped our last night at Emigrant campground in the Blue Mountains which is right between La Grande and Pendleton Oregon. About half way from Portland and Boise. It was a nice campground. We got everything set up and went for a hike out and around the campground. The only downfall to the camp area is that it is right next to the freeway and makes for kind of a loud night.
I have a funny story that made me laugh and Joseph too for that matter after I had told him. There were a couple of guys with their kids right next to our campsite and they were making it certain to catch my attention. On our way back from our little hike they asked me if I would like to have a beer with them later and I said I don't drink Beer and then they said they had juice and I said no thank you. Then the next day one of the guys kept making it a point to say something to me when I walked by with my boys like, "how old are your boys"...(me) 2 and 4 "Oh mine are 4 and 6" (all excited about it too) Me~ Oh that's nice as I keep walking :)....Oh Sometimes I really wish I had my amazingly wonderful hot husband to show off ;) So I left that campground pretty entertained. :)
