Road trip 2010 (The Ocean!!!!!)

Feeding Seagulls on the way to the ocean :)

Cape Lookout

The Sunset on Cape look out!!~ I love my boys in the sunset light :)

Haystack rock at Cape Kiwanda I loved this area!~

It poured on us and we were all soaked. It was actually really fun anyway. Running on the beach in the rain splashing through puddles from the low tide. Beautiful!

Tillamook Cheese Factory.......The power of cheese...and chocolate milk :)

Cape Meares... One of my Favorites!!!

Cape Meares Lighthouse

This is Nehelam Bay State park that we stopped at just to check it out and move on. It has an area so you can bring horses. So it is very horse friendly and you can ride along the beach here. Sounds like something I would love to do in the future.

This is a Tide pool on a beach south of cannon Beach. It was so breathtaking and beautiful and cool!

So I would have had a lot more pictures at this beach but we had an incident happen that was rather scary. We all loved looking at the tide pools and most of them were only puddles as you can tell. Bridger would even jump into someof them like they were puddles and through them ect... Well there was this one tide pool that wrapped itself around a big rock and must have a pretty good current around when in high tide. The tide pool was about 5 feet deep and wrapped itself around the rock. Well Bridger must have assumed it was like all the others and fun to play in because he went right into it. i was across the tide pool and couldn't get to him fast enough. My mom was the closest. He fell face first and had his little head barely bobbing on top of the water and My mom got to him intime as he was submerge and grabbed his foot and lifted him out of the water. I was so scared adn it had all of our hearts in shock. I grabbed him from my mom and held him and he seemed to be just fine except for extremely cold. He didn't even cough so he didn't breath in any of the water. I high tailed it while cradeling him to the car which was a good 1/4 of a mile away at least. The poor boy was closing his eyes adn freezing. I got him to the car adn stripped him down to nothing and wrapped him up in a blanket, turned the cars heater on and just held him. What a scary experience that ended happy and well. I am so grateful he is alright and that we didn't have our backs to him when it happened.

We went out to eat for lunch in Cannon Beach. I had a crab sandwich that was really good.

We camped right on the other side of a rock barrier between the ocean and the rest of the campground. It was fun to hear the waves all night long. :)
